Magpie's Nest.

Entry for the artstation 2D enviro challenge.

Mines a little random. It was important to show scale for this challenge and I really liked the idea of something recognisably massive in an non recognisable position - so in this case 'upside down'. The scattered containers are there to support the gravity of my upside down tanker. From all this the narrative of some kind of collector machine/alien that's hoarding all sorts and boats and subs and dropping them in its nest kind of stemmed from that. My protagonist is some kind of scavenger, an ant to this giant machine...
